Over the course of his longstanding musical career, which began at the age of 6, James has played in a range of orchestras and brass bands (23 years!) and sung in choirs.  He was awarded a prestigious choral scholarship, has performed internationally, and also appeared in Channel 4’s “Orchestra United”.

James been teaching professionally for over 11 years, with a long track record of a high attainment with all of his students. He prides himself on his students’ high percentage of distinction grades for both piano and music theory exams. His students come from all backgrounds, all beginning with differing levels of skill and experience.

James continues to provide excellent musical education in his home, located in central Norwich, where he proudly teaches Piano, Music Theory and Exam preparation lessons. He also teaches online (when requested) via his in-house studio.

James possesses the unique skill “perfect pitch” which he uses extensively to provide a robust classical-focused service for all of his students.

The other man is younger with dark hair and a beard, wearing sunglasses, a black sleeveless shirt, black shorts, and sneakers. In the background, there are a few people sitting on benches and walking, with brick buildings and a church open sign visible.
